John Murtha Johnstown–Cambria County Airport (IATA: JST, ICAO: KJST, FAA LID: JST) is a joint civil-military public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) northeast of the central business district of Johnstown, a city in Cambria County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is owned by Johnstown–Cambria County Airport Authority. The airport is named after the late Congressman John Murtha. It is mostly used for general aviation, but is also served by one commercial airline. Service is subsidized by the Essential Air Service.

As per Federal Aviation Administration records, the airport had 7,634 passenger boardings (enplanements) in calendar year 2008, 7,956 enplanements in 2009, and 8,457 in 2010. It is included in the National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2011–2015, which categorized it as a non-primary commercial service airport (between 2,500 and 10,000 enplanements per year).

JOHN MURTHA JOHNSTOWN CAMBRIA COUNTY AIRPORT HISTORY

The airport was dedicated in 1948 as Johnstown Municipal Airport, and at one time was served by both Allegheny Airlines and Mohawk. When US Airways ended service to Altoona and Pittsburgh, United Express picked it up with service to Altoona and Washington Dulles.
